What is the fundamental belief of both Arminianism and paganism?

Will Christians be judged on the last day?

"the dead were judged...according to their works." (Rev. 20:12). But Eph. 2:8-9 says "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works..."

How can we reconcile those two verses?

When someone unsaved dies, do they go immediately to hell?

Does a believer go immediately to heaven when they die?

We know that the Bible teaches that death is the penalty for sin; but why do Christians die, since Christ took the penalty for our sins upon Himself?
