Christ's Resurrection is the Cornerstone of the Gospel!

Jesus again and again, taught his disciples that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

IT is amazing to consider, that this small group of followers of Christ, who had been initially so despondent and discouraged, were transformed into courageous witnesses and martyrs, and had spread the Gospel throughout the Roman empire and around the world.
How could they have so much boldness??? It was their Hope in the Resurrection.

The doctrine of Christ bodily resurrection has been attacked my many in our day.
The gospel is meaningless without the resurrection. It is a historical fact. 15:1-4.
It has been verified by many eyewitnesses. 15:5-11.
Furthermore, the testimony of the transformed lives of the followers of Christ is additional proof.

Pastor Curt gave much application in the last 3rd of the message, focusing on Faithful Living in light of the Resurrection. Living the Victorious Christian life now, while we are long for our Heavenly home. We are simply pilgrims in this life, in exile until we reach the Celestial city!
