This contrasts God's response to humility and Satan's use of pride. One brings honor, the other brings destruction. The two are demonstrated daily on the roadways. One allows another driver the right of way, while the other quickly develops into road rage. One gives up seconds, the other may take years away. One brings a peaceful calm, the other brings anger, hate and loss of self control. One pleases God and you know who the other pleases.
