The Nature of Hell

It cannot be denied that the doctrine of Hell is an historic Christian doctrine. However, since this teaching has been questioned – both in the past and in the present – it is wholesome and helpful to consider the Scriptural teaching in relation to God's judgment.

The purpose of this message, then, is to consider specifically what the New Testament teaches in relation to the nature of Hell: that the biblical Hell is a place where those who rebel against God suffer unending, conscious torment.
