Providing for your Parents and Grandparents

Paul instructs Timothy to utilize a familial demeanor when interacting with all ages of church members. He then gives instruction to all church members on how to treat widows and elderly family members. He points out this care is not for the church to fulfill when family members are present. Only when no family exists does the church step in to care for these important children of God.
