The Lamb of God

The selection and sacrifice of the Passover Lamb accomplished the redemption and deliverance of God's people from slavery in Egypt and the tyranny of Pharaoh some 3500 years ago. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, was the selection and sacrifice on that first Good Friday nearly 2000 years ago. Jesus' sacrifice accomplished the far greater redemption and deliverance from slavery to sin and the tyranny of Satan for all those who, by God's grace, repent of their sins and put their faith and trust in Him as The Lamb of God.
