The burial of Jesus of Nazareth is not irrelevant. It's important. Per the apostle Paul, it's important because it serves as proof of His death. See 1 Corinthians 15:3-4. Jesus really died. And the fact that he was buried is evidence of that historical reality. But what an unusual burial it was.
