The Finished Work

Revelation 6 ends with the sobering question: who can stand before the Lamb in the day of his wrath? The answer comes in the next chapter as John is shown the countless number who have been saved by the blood of the Lamb. Christ is at work even now, saving a certain, perfect and vast number of sinners. We can join the apostle John in wondering at a vision of this finished work, a diverse body from every tribe and tongue, yet all clothed in robes made white by the Lamb's blood.
