Gethsemane

We continue our Lenten series this morning by studying the intense suffering that our
Lord endured in "the olive press." Just as bloody sweat was being pressed out of our
Lord because of the approaching "cup of the wrath of God," so our Lord's earnest
prayer before His Father reveals the heavy hand of Divine judgment being pressed
upon His soul. Yet our Lord "learned submission," and so we can rejoice and give
thanks for our salvation.
