We have an enemy who wants to make us his hostage. He wants to keep us held against our will or desire. If we would be honest with ourselves we are all hostage to something. Be it bitterness, lust, depression, etc. now all hostage situations need a hostage negotiator or mediator. In our case that person is Jesus.
