Not one of us like trouble, yet it is inescapable. Through the work of the Holy Spirit our God brings to us deep benefits out of our troubles and pain.

C.S. Lewis put it so well when he said,
"God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our consciences, but shouts in our pain. Pain is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world."
