Why Righteousness-Imputed? Righteousness is legal, forensic and judicial. It resulted from another’s obedience. We have no claim to it. We are never instructed to seek it. It required, by its nature, that the “righteous judge” impute it. He reckoned it on the Cross as He did sin in the Garden.
