Why We Can Trust God - Part 127 - The Giving God

When we are overwhelmed with the difficulties of life, it often appears that He is not in control or His control is not taking things in a direction that we like or are comfortable living under. Since God intends that we walk by faith and not by sight we must know just Whom we are trusting in. Of primary importance is our understanding of His perfect character. Here we look at the wonderful gift of life, both physical life and spiritual or eternal life. Having been created by Him in the first place we, as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, have been given the infinitely valuable gift of eternal life that only He can give. Our study today is mainly about the reason that God acts at this coming time in destroying these nations that will invade Israel. Since He is known as the God of Israel, His dealing with His people in judgment has caused people to blaspheme His name and holy character as Israel has continued to disobey Him. He is going to sanctify His holy name through His destruction of these nations that come against Israel and the nations will know that He is Who He is.
