The Bible declares plainly that we have intimate contact with our High Priest. That He can and does touch us in different ways, and at the same time we can touch Him. This verse shows us that not only are we His possession but that He is our possession. His profession is to bring it to the Father on our behalf and ours is to bring it to Him. The possibility for both of us to be used is there; it is a matter of perception. But when we fail to do something on our part not only are we powerless but we render Him so as well by blocking Him.
