The King Who Loves Righteousness and Hates Wickedness

In verses 8-9 of chapter 1, the writer of Hebrews Christ is the king who rules with a scepter of uprightness which proves that He loves righteousness and hates wickedness. He proved this by His love of God's law by living a perfect life but also by redeeming a people by dying for their sins who broke God's law. Therefore, because of this work Christ is anointed with oil of joy unmatched, a glory that exceeds all.
