God Sees and Hears the Faithless

This story of Abram and Sarah is sad for many reasons. However, it is their faithlessness that is the tragedy. They have no faith that God can do as He says so they come up with a plan that is okayed by the world, but wrong according God's word.
In all of this God magnifies Himself as one who sees and hears. Even the outsider Hagar shows more faith than the heirs of the promise.
