The Moment of God's Choosing

Daniel 12, the final prophecy of the prophet's book, is full of promise of the Messiah and the salvation of God's people. Daniel saw and heard but did not understand the vision. The comfort he was given was that had hidden the meaning until it was fulfilled (see v. 4). When we don't understand God's timing, when we can't see the end of a matter, when simply are not sure, we, like Daniel, can trust hearing the words of the last verse of his book: ""But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days."
