The Hour Has Come

Beginning with the wedding in Cana, Jesus declared "mine hour is not yet come". Then, six days before His final Passover, trial and crucifixion Jesus announced "The hour is come". John repeated that in John 13:1. Then, Jesus said it as He prayed. What was the "hour"? Jesus referred to His obedience unto death and the Cross. Without it there is no remission of sin; by it, the sins of God's elect were fully remitted.
