I Will Build My Church

The psalmist said, "we are his people and the sheep of his pasture" (Psalm 100:3). This message answers the question: what did Jesus call His people? He named them His church, sheep, flock, children and the elect of God. His people were given to Him by the Father (John 17:2). By His obedience unto death on the Cross, He saved, redeemed and justified them. He exclusively loved and prayed for them (John 17:9).
