Ye Have Come to the Living God

The chapter begins saying, professing faith is like being in a race. In our passage, the apostle described the two teams. The goal of both teams is to be justified before God. The Law Team believes by one or more fulfilled conditions he is made just before God. The apostle said grace-believers are not on that team. They are on the Grace Team. They come by the Cross, to the living God, are assured of heaven and have an effectual mediator, Jesus Christ.
