The God-given charge to a minister of the Word

We see:

1. This charge is given in the sight of God and Jesus Christ as judge.

2. This charge is to be ready always to patiently preach the Word; in reproof, rebuke, and comfort.

3. This charge is needed because the minister will face hardship and heresy.

4. The charge to be controlled and to endure so as to fully serve the Lord.
