Hearing But Not Understanding

Paul arrived in Rome a prisoner of the state. Providentially, he was given great liberty to preach the Gospel of God's free grace. Many high standing Jews came to hear and reason regarding Christ. Those who believed in time were greatly persuaded to depart Christ and go back to Judaism. What Paul said was mixed with numerous warnings and in time became what we call Hebrews. Others heard but God granted no understanding.
