Exodus 26 - Waters of Bitterness

God deliberately led His people to the bitter (unusable) waters to show them how desperately wicked their hearts actually were and what His cure would be, in its due time. God tests His people so they will understand how wicked they, and we, actually are. Without knowledge there is NO repentance but the gaining of that knowledge requires painful experience. This is how one grows in grace.
