The Pale Horse - Fourth horseman of the Apocalypse

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, as described in this sixth chapter of the book of the Revelation, is often the only content of this book that many people are commonly aware of.

This term 'The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse', has in some circumstances found its way into the vocabulary of the unconverted and even of those who know little of the Word of God and furthermore who care little for the Word of God.

These four horsemen of the Apocalypse represent four different chastisements that will come upon the world, see end of v8. These will come as the world hastens towards the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. They don't mark the actual appearing of Christ. They signal His coming.

It is particularly the fourth one that we want to dwell upon this evening.
