Kingdom Matters
Series Epistle of Romans
The Kingdom of God is not about disputable things – not about eating and drinking. A principle is given that nothing is unclean in and of itself; rather all things are clean as Christ is the creator of all. However, Christian liberty should not be indulged simply to push the limits of what is acceptable in God's sight lest the liberty become a stumbling block to others.
God gave liberty to His people that they may grow in holiness increasing in righteousness, peace, and joy of the Holy Spirit. In walking in the way of freedom in Christ, the Lord's children will be found approved and acceptable in the sight of others as they are held up to scrutiny despite matters of indifference. When it comes to matters of indifference on secondary and tertiary doctrines, unity and peace in the Church are to be of primary importance.
