Christ Our Passover

On this Good Friday service we devote our attention to the death of the Lord Jesus, particularly in terms of his being our Passover Lamb. His Passover sacrifice is the beginning of a new spiritual exodus for his people. The sermon takes its place in relation to a series of readings on the theme: Ex. 12:14-17; Matt. 26:14-29; John 19:13-24; 1 Pet. 1:17-25 and 1 Cor. 5:1-8. Christ, as our Passover Lamb, leads us to a new life, free from the bondage of the past,directed to a new future and a new hope.
