This is Jesus the King of the Jews

Before He was born, the angel announced to Mary "the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His father David". After He was born, wise men from the East hailed Him as "King of the Jews". Five days before His crucifixion the multitudes cried out: "Blessed is the King of Israel". Is Jesus then the King of the Jews?
