Stop Trusting Men

In Isaiah 2:22-3:15, we are shown 6 realities of a failed
community that trusts in men rather than God.
I. God takes away everything His people falsely trust.
A. Physical sustenance (v.1).
B. Leaders (vs. 2-3).
II. God gives leaders His people deserve (v. 4).
III. The community is in selfish chaos (vs. 5-7).
IV. God assesses His people:
A. They have fallen because their words and
actions stand against Yahweh's glory (v. 8).
B. Their sin is on full display, and they have
brought evil on themselves (v. 9).
V. God warns and encourages His people.
A. It will be well for the righteous (v. 10).
B. It will be ill for the wicked (v. 11).
C. I am aware of your plight (v. 12).
VI. Yahweh convenes His court (vs. 13-15).
