The zeal of the King

Our Lord goes in his kingly authority to the temple, to the house of God, where the Lord makes himself known for the glory of his name and for the good of all who seek him. There he drove out those who made the temple no longer a house of prayer, but a den of thieves. As the true Shepherd, he then taught the flock, despite the hatred of his enemies. Jerusalem would reject its King. What of us? What of the temple of our hearts? What of the temple of the church? Will Christ find there a zeal like his for the glory of the Lord and the true good of lost mankind?
