The Ascension of Christ

Welcome back to "Encounter God's Truth"—a weekly Bible-teaching and faith-building outreach of Whitcomb Ministries. Our purpose on every broadcast is to declare boldly that God's Word is true from the beginning to the end.
Before we break for special holiday programming, we will pause to remind ourselves of the foundation of the book of Acts, which we are currently studying in Volume Three of Dr. John Whitcomb's series called "Acts: Witness of the Early Church."
To reflect on where we have been in this series, we go back to the very first lesson—including material that we did not utilize when it first aired. It traces the significance of Jesus' ascension through both the Old and New Testaments, and offers the perfect preparation for this year's Easter messages.
