Approving God's Will

Christians ask about God's will for their lives. Whom you marry will affect your entire life. Buying a house affects your entire financial picture. Taking certain jobs could to be catastrophic or the turning point in your life professionally. That is why we often want answers from God.

What does God want me to do?

1. Present your body and soul to Him.
2. Be transformed (metamorphosis) by having your mind renewed.
3. "that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."

How does this relate to knowing God's Will?

1. You will see that only God's will is the acceptable way.
2. You will see how God's Word applies to every concrete situation.
3. You will see that God's revealed will is more important and must never be compromised by these non-moral decisions.

What do I do?

1. Ask God to know His Word better.
2. Even if you are confused about an important decision, faithfully do what is revealed.
3. Pray for wisdom to rightly apply His Word.
