Revival: When God Makes His People Willing

What is revival? We sometimes think of something happening to the world. Revival, rather is something takes place among people already sound in doctrine. What does revival look like? If it happened today it would like what we find Song of Solomon 6:12. God's people are found saying (like the bride) "Or ever I was aware, my soul made me like the chariots of Aminadib." In other words they are made willing in the day of His power. Whereas before their prayers, their worship, their duty was marked by formalism now they are marked by soul-willingness. Charles Spurgeon's sermon on this text was a great help to me in the preparation of this sermon.
