Abraham: Grieves for Sarah
Series Sketches
22
God enabled Abraham to honorably conclude his life. In chapter 23, we read of the death of Sarah at one hundred and twenty-seven years. With great care he stayed by her side; he then, "came to mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her". After more than 100 years of marriage, she was still loved and highly esteemed by the faithful patriarch. They remain a shining example of love and affection.
