Doctrine of Creation

By creation we mean that act of God by which He produces the world and all that is in the world. Part of the creation was made without any pre-existent material, and part was the forming and reforming of that material. That God is a Creator is of primary importance in any study of theology; creation and providence are the great eternal decrees of God. The primary purpose of the creation is for the manifestation of God's own glory.
