The Pre-Tribulation Rapture, Part 1

827

Different views on end times and prophetic issues come down to a matter of hermeneutics. If the reader of the bible continues to read literally, chapters 6 and following of the book of Revelation, as they have been reading the first five chapters they will come to a "premillennial" understanding of the return of Christ. Literal, grammatical, historical interpretation of the book of the Revelation indicates Jesus Christ will return at the beginning of the thousand year kingdom on the earth over which He will rule and reign. Furthermore it will be understood that Israel and the Church are separate and distinct entities. The seven year tribulation will conclude with Christ's return to set up the thousand year kingdom and that prior to the beginning of the tribulation the Church will be caught up to be with Christ.

The bible reveals a clear distinction between the rapture of the Church and the second coming to earth of Jesus Christ.

The two-part study also presents seven reasons for the conclusions as specifically relate to the timing of the rapture of the Church.
