Sealed by the Holy Ghost

We are knit together with God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ by His Spirit, the precious Holy Ghost of promise!

But Scripture teaches us that the Holy Ghost also unites believers together into Christ's Church, for by that one Spirit we are all baptized into one Body. The indwelling of the Holy Ghost in us is that singular event, or baptism, whereby we are joined unto our Savior and unto each other in Him.

But this startling union of Believers of all sorts (Jews, Gentiles, slave and free, male and female) into Christ's Church was a mystery of God which He revealed to the Apostles after the Resurrection of Christ.

It was revealed by the Holy Ghost at that time, so that the Church might publicly display the Glory of Christ and the deliberate purpose of the Father for His Son from eternity past. The Church is a demonstration of God's manifold Wisdom in Christ before the highest spiritual powers in heaven.

The Holy Ghost in us is the testimony and proof of our unity with God. He is how we know God is with us, and we with Him. The Spirit also fulfills in us our duties toward the Father to call unto Him as His sons. Thus, the Spirit cries for us to God, Abba Father! Even when we are cold and fail to approach our Father as we ought, the Holy Ghost fills up our duty in our place, calling out from within us to God, thereby perfecting us as His Sons and performing God's desire for us as His sons.

The Holy Ghost in us conveys to us the Love of God for us, by that working by which He reveals to us the truth about God and convinces us of it.

We would never believe or understand God's love for us as shown in Jesus' sacrifice but by His Spirit's mighty power!
