Deliver Us from This Present Evil World

It's not that God is not able to save or have no power to save, but that we have distanced ourselves from Him by our sin. It is us forsaking Him, for the love of this present world. He is able and will deliver us from this present evil world when He converts us into Sons of God. We have to turn from our sins in repentance, be sanctified by His word for His power to dwell richly in us.
