Why Doesn't God Do Something?

"And some of them said, 'Could not this Man, who opened the eyes of the blind, also have kept this man from dying?'" (John 11:37). In the context of questioning Jesus' compassion, these words are disturbing and unsettling to us. But these words also voice an equally disturbing sentiment from unbelievers and believers who question and mistrust God's love i.e. why doesn't God do something?!
