God Is Still God and He Is Enough

Encouragement, comfort, and counsel are provided by God to His people as they go through the multi-faceted trials and troubles of this life. Threatening, overwhelming, confusing, and discouraging though they may be in their diversity it is one and the same God who alone is the greatest need and the Deliverer. Even when the difficulties are consequences of sin God remains the Caretaker and Caregiver of His own who have repented and seek Him. Who God is makes certainty of what the believer must keep on trusting God for while earnestly and passionately continuing to seek Him. It may seem the Lord is abandoning His child but the truth is He never does nor will He ever, even for a moment. Even in the darkest and most discouraging of times the child of God walks by faith, not by sight or feelings, seeking Him first and then step by step doing what is pleasing to Him.
