Real Worship

What is worship? When we worship, are expressing the worth of the One we worship. Once you have experienced the the real thing, you do not want the other stuff. Real worship, as in this passage, is worship to the Lord. Real worship draws us to the presence of the Lord. We should sing to the Lord no matter what anyone else thinks. Worship is not a preacher performing on the platform and an audience in the congregation. When you come to worship the Lord, what is your focus? If it is about ourselves it is not worship, we should be focused on God. Verses 7 and 9 make it clear that God destroyed His enemies, not the enemies of Moses or the Israelites. Even when the enemy boasts that they will accomplish something, they are wrong, apart from Jesus we can do nothing.
