Augustine famously said "our hearts are restless until they rest in You". Sin distorts this longing and we seek for more outside of God. In fact, our culture today defines a better life as having more things. As Christians, we should be focused on giving, not just our physical things, but all our gifts. Since they come from God, we must give them back to him. Especially in our worship, it can be so easy to look for God to worship us by saying we know what God wants!
