There are many Bible doctrines that pastors & teachers rarely if ever talk about because of their unpopularity which then causes them to have a deep fear of rejection by their listeners (which could also cause a drop in donations to their ministries). "Politically correct" theology many times replaces straightforward Bible teaching that may "rock the boat" in many congregations. Pastors & teachers many times will "avoid" plain Bible teachings to avoid "problems" that these teachings might cause. However, Larry Wessels & Bob Ross are not concerned with this as the truth of God's word (Acts 20:27) is more important than only prophesying doctrines that people are comfortable with (Isaiah 30:9-11).
