Only God's Grace Can Change a Sinner

Preceding this message, Bro. Fulton played the song, "A Sinner Like Me" by Rolfe Barnard. Then he told something of the kind of preaching Barnard did ... proclaiming the Gospel in the Spirit's power and waiting for the Spirit to transform that sinner ... not depending on fleshly works or so-called "invitations" telling people to walk to the front of a church building and they'll receive life.

Man's natural condition is SUCH that ONLY THE SOVEREIGN WORKING OF GOD'S HOLY SPIRIT CAN ARREST A SINNER, CHANGE HIS DESIRES AND BRING HIM TO CHRIST. Let us preach the TRUTH and leave God to do the work of regeneration, giving life to dead sinners.
