God is Sovereign and we see this in the salvation of souls. Does this mean we sit back and do nothing? Absolutely not! This sermon will encourage you to wait on the Lord in His Word, to attend the means of grace and to meditate - pondering and applying those things important for our own souls.

We look at prayer as the most important work of the believer. We see it as work when Scripture uses terms like Jacob wrestling with God and Hannah pouring out her heart.

May we not neglect these things but may we cry out to our Lord to know and obey Him more and more.
