Christ Forsaken of All ~ All on Earth

Christ's atonement for us involved unspeakable suffering. We tend to dwell on the physical, which was terrible.
But it was not the worst of His suffering. Not nearly. The deepest suffering was His being forsaken.

Compare Hassan in The Kite Runner: changed his life forever. The pain of being forsaken to enemies with no friend to stand with you. To be so alone.
And we were once counted among His enemies (Col 1:21).
But He made us His friends, blameless in His sight (v22)!
Love and serve Him!
Be willing to be forsaken ever so little for being identified with Him
