True Worship

Clarification: By stating that the elements of the OT are "carnal ordinances" (Heb 9:10), this is not to deny that the OT saints did worship "in spirit and in truth". They most certainly did. They were not merely circumcised according to the flesh, but were also circumcised according to the heart (Deut 30:6). Therefore, though the elements were "carnal", they worshipped God from the heart and understood spiritual worship.
