Vain Thinking Concerning the Gospel

This continues the parable of the rich man and the poor man, Lazarus. This parable is to teach us three lessons 1. The godly poor are blessed and the unmerciful rich are in everlasting torment. 2. The irreversible state of the dammed. 3. The direction of the Holy Scriptures is the only way to escape these torments. The word of God is the only way to persuade us to repentance.
