The Bible Teaches a Pre-Trib Rapture
2,212
What is the rapture? When does it happen? A comparison of the rapture passages and the second coming passages clearly shows that they are two separate and distinct events.
The Greek word is Harpazo, to 'snatch up.'
There are raptures documented both the Old and New Testament.
While the 'classic' passage is spoken by Paul in 1 Thes 4:13-18, Jesus gave a direct parallel in John 14:1-3.
What's wrong with the post-trib view? Well, for one, they are waiting for the anti-Christ, but we wait for Christ!
