That Day of Christ

In chapters eleven and twelve of Isaiah the phrase "that day" appears four times. New Testament references inform us this was a prophecy of the first advent of Christ in the flesh, till He returns (Mt 1:6-16; Acts 13:22-23; Ro 15:12; Re 5:5). This is the church age, the age of grace (Ep 3:2-6). Chapter twelve foretells the salvation experience God grants His people. This chapter conveys a sweet and tender note of love.
