What We Know

What we know of God, and how we perceive the wisdom of God, will be clearly seen in:

  1. How we treat Jesus.
  2. How we receive the word of God.
  3. How we view the disciples of Jesus.

Paul said, the wisdom that God ordained, before the ages, is wisdom that is hidden, but not it's not hidden from everyone. He said we speak this wisdom, the wisdom that the rulers of Jesus' day did not know or have — for had they known this wisdom (who Christ was, who was the promise, promised by the God who cannot lie, God, Himself veiled in a human body, the substitutionary life He was living, who Christ served, who He would be a sacrifice for, God's living Lamb, His priority and purpose, what He was teaching and doing, who He was rescuing and reconciling, why He laid His life down for a world at enmity with God, the King who came to conquer His subjects and transform them to be His loving servants, God's only answer to bring together a Jew and Gentile world that would rest their hope in a living Savior that made them brothers and sisters through His life, blood, and resurrection — yes, all the things He has prepared for them that love Him), they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 1 Corinthians 2:8-9

A man that's NOT persuaded by the word of God will NOT be persuaded by anything else that God has done or will ever do...
